Camellia sinensis leaf extract dry concentrate (Equivalent to Camellia sinensis dry leaf, Equivalent to Caffeine): Nervous system alertness. The major benefits of this dose of caffeine on exercise capacity and performance appear to be achieved by central nervous system effects, specifically those involving antagonism of adenosine receptors. When caffeine is consumed in doses found in foods and dietary supplements, it improves ability to perform tasks requiring sustained vigilance, including real and simulated automobile driving, and activities that require maintenance of vigilance. In addition, caffeine increases self-reported alertness and decreases sleepiness.
Paullinia cupana fruit extract dry concentrate (Equivalent to Paullinia cupana dry fruit, Equivalent to Caffeine): Guarana (Stimulant) is used as a
tonic for fatigue and to quell hunger and thirst. Its effect in stimulating the circulation, heart and diuresis. Guarana is an excitant of the cerebrospinal centers and nervine [acting on or relieving disorders of the nerves; soothing the nerves] tonic.
Citrus Aurantium fruit extract dry concentrate (Equivalent to Citrus Aurantium dry fruit, Equivalent to Oxedrine): breaks up stagnant Qi and reduces accumulation: for epigastric or abdominal pain and distention or indigestion with focal distention or gas. It has the
functions of regulating flow and removing stagnation of Qi and
alleviating distention, used in distension and pain in the
hypochondriac regions due to stagnation of Qi, indigestion.
Levocarnitine: L-carnitine, also known as levocarnitine, is a naturally occurring amino acid structure that the body produces. People can also get it from their diet or take it in the form of an oral supplement. L-carnitine plays a critical role in energy production, as it converts fat into energy. As well as supporting energy production, L-carnitine may help some other functions in the body, such as maintaining general cognitive function.
Tyrosine: a nonessential amino acid the body makes from another amino acid called phenylalanine. It is an essential component for the production of several important brain chemicals called neurotransmitters, including epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine. Neurotransmitters help nerve cells communicate and influence mood. Tyrosine also helps produce melanin, the pigment responsible for hair and skin color. It helps in the function of organs responsible for making and regulating hormones, including the adrenal, thyroid, and pituitary glands. It is involved in the structure of almost every protein in the body..
Nicotinic Acid (Niacin): Niacin contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism. Niacin contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Niacin is a generic term for nicotinic acid and nicotinamide (also called niacinamide), which both provide vitamin activity. Coenzyme forms, the nicotinamide nucleotides—nicotinamide adenine inucleotide (NAD) and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADP).Functions and Mechanisms of Action: Over 400 enzymes, primarily dehydrogenases, require the coenzymes NAD andNADP, which act as hydrogen donors or electron acceptorsand enable nutrient metabolism and energy production. Metabolism of: Carbohydrates, fatty acids, and amino acids. Energy Production: Oxidation-reduction reactions in the Krebs cycle involving the production of energy from carbohydrates. Niacin the precursor of NAD and NADP is essential for normal fuel metabolism.
Directions for Use: In general, it is recommended that stimulant based products are taken either first thing in the morning or just before your workout. The rationale behind taking it in the morning is that your metabolism is at its slowest when you first wake up.
Taking Super 23 first thing in the morning will act as a kick start to your day. It will also ensure that you get maximum absorption into your bloodstream.
So for maximum effect, we recommend taking two (2) tablets on an empty stomach at least 30 minutes before breakfast or your morning workout.
For those who are stimulant sensitive, we recommend taking one (1) tablet two times daily, either on an empty stomach OR with food.
